The Renewal Cycle is a revolutionary way to find out where your organization is, where its going and how you can get there - before the competition.

Where You Fit in the Renewal Cycle

We found each of the four parts of the Renewal Cycle has two different personality types - one that make up the vast majority of those in that category, and those who exhibit a sort of "leadership" quality in that category - those who passionately believe in their part of the Renewal Cycle so much they are willing to stand in front and take the heat. Here are the four different parts of the Renewal Cycle - with each personality type outlined. To find out where you are or where your organization is, contact us for an assessment.

Square I - "Gaming"

Adapter

You’re most comfortable in times of transition and significant change. You like reacting to those changes by planning new products and services to adjust to this evolving environment. You’re comfortable when the world around you is fairly uncertain and people aren’t quite sure what to do. When the world becomes a bit more stable, you are not as comfortable.

Transformer (Leadership)

You love to make radical changes in an organization because you believe this is the only way to survive. You aren’t afraid to embrace large changes and love to see what you can do to challenge existing thoughts and belief systems. However, you can move a little too fast for some people who aren’t ready to push ahead at your speed.

Square II - "Framing"

Strategist

You like to help organizations deal with large changes by seeing what resources they will need to deal with that change. You’re most comfortable when reacting to what’s outside the organization and observing how that affects people and plans. However, you may be weaker in seeing how to fine tune the use of those resources.

Visionary (Leadership)

You like to think broadly about how your organization will deal with the future. You love focusing on the “big picture” and how future trends will impact how you will serve your customers. However, you may not always be best suited to actually implement whatever changes you prescribe.

Square III - "Claiming"

Implementer

You like to get involved with the nitty gritty of change, and really put ideas and methods to work. You’re most comfortable when you’re allowed to have a little more freedom to decide how changes will really get made. However, you may have problems when changes happen to quickly or become too large in scope.

Facilitator (Leadership)

You enjoy implementing change, but at the same time, you like to examine the tradeoffs change will bring to current efforts. You prefer to weigh all factors before making any necessary changes. However, this may mean you are not fast enough to recognize when a change needs to be made.

Square IV - "Taming"

Improver

You like to fine tune well established processes, and prefer changes that are small in nature and don’t disrupt the natural order of things. You love to operate within well established guidelines in terms of what works and what doesn’t. However, you may not be aware when truly revolutionary change is sneaking up on you.

Enforcer (Leadership)

You like to make sure others work within necessary guidelines and parameters. You’re excellent at getting people to operate within the bounds of convention inside an organization. However, you may not recognize when such rules have outlived their usefulness.
