Jon's 15 minutes of fame came early at 17 – he was a member of the winning team in a UK TV quiz show – but his ability to generate fortune has lasted far longer. In an age of talk about globalization, Jon has walked the walk on six continents. A former chief executive and Bain & Company partner, he has visited 96 countries and successfully done business on every continent. Jon has a knack for understanding what needs to be done in the farther reaches of the world, then working with whomever is there to make things happen. He started out selling books in a shop, then soap for P&G before graduating Arjay Miller Scholar at Stanford Business School. Jon has earned a degree from Oxford and published numerous articles … as well as finding time to lead an HIV non-profit in San Francisco and teach business to prison inmates in Africa. (
